“Legal Implications of an EU Top Official Stepping Down Early” – event yesterday

by | Feb 22, 2024

Third time’s a charm! Compared to our previous two events, nearly everything seemed to run smoothly – except for the rainy and windy Brussels weather and the delays due to that – so we are content with how our “Legal Implications of an EU Top Official Stepping Down Early” event turned out.

We have addressed the issues of EU institutions, constitutionality, political and leadership responsibility, basically everything that You may have seen being raised related to European Council President Charles Michel’s announcement and withdrawal since January. We have covered other institutional leadership positions as well, comparing those to each other.

We want to thank our great speakers, Simonetta, Quentin and Tamás, but also our audience for being with us yesterday and staying with us after the event for a cool chat with some wine, sharing your ideas and experience. We hope that You will join us in our next events, too! Additionally, we are grateful to Thon Hotel EU for making sure that everything worked out. We will be back!

Our team and guests: Ivett Letenovics (C4EP), Tamás Lattmann (C4EP), Simonetta Cook (Cabinet of Charles Michel), Quentin Dickinson (EURADIO), Laura Leger (C4EP)

A detailed report on the event will follow, until then You can find some more photos on our social media pages:
