Centre for European Progression is an independent NGO based in Brussels, active since 2014, focusing on public policy consultancy and advocacy with special attention to young professionals dealing with European affairs.
We provide professional assistance to our clients (read more about our services) while creating a constructive atmosphere for discussion about the future of Europe in an informal, well-balanced and open manner. We organize a series of events both to support our professional activities and to help young professionals, experts and academics share their ideas about European issues. Additionally, we design projects, organize trips and host workshops for university students and trainees to give them tools for a successful career in the EU bubble.

Research and writing
Stakeholder mapping – You may need to find the policy makers and opinion formers across Europe whom your activities and issues concern. Our research experts map the policies of your interest, identify key stakeholders and supporters of your cause in order to help you build up your alliance. We deliver a comprehensive and vast map of the most relevant policymakers and stakeholders that set up, implement and influence the policies that affect your business, help you build partnerships and “customised alliances”, and launch campaigns across multiple agencies and administrations.
Executive briefing sessions – We provide you with an in-depth analysis of the policy-makers’ approach concerning your activities and issues at the EU level. We are here to help you should you struggle to understand the fine line between member states policies or the European Parliament’s likely position, or need a clear view of how the changes in legislation and power could potentially affect your organisation, its strategy and plans over the short and medium to long term.
Coaching and customised training – We offer capacity building and a better understanding of the “Eurobubble”, its institutions and policies tailored to our clients’ needs and profile. We can guide you through the political labyrinth of European decision making. Our coaching is designed for clients who are in need of targeted but easy to understand and simple training on EU Affairs – our “Guide and Compass to EU Affairs”.
Briefing notes – Presentations – Press releases – Our drafting skills are incomparable. We have a thorough knowledge at drafting briefing notes, press releases, newsletters, speeches and website or social media texts.

Issue monitoring tailored to your needs
Staying up-to-date on political-legal developments on certain fields is inevitable to making better decisions.
We employ methodological and continuous observation and research of the EU’s decisions, legislative acts and relevant developments to assist our clients and help identify topics and issues of concern at an early stage.
We follow policy developments, debates and media coverage closely and use our network in specific departments and administration to provide you with insiders’ views and insights.
Advocacy and strategic planning
We provide EU advocacy and strategic planning with proactive institutional communication based on well-targeted messages.
Taking into account the three main EU institutions (the European Commission, the Council and the European Parliament) as well as the national perspectives of the member states, CFEP offers political-legal advocacy about specific fields of legislation, making You aware of regulatory proposals and ongoing international negotiations which directly affects your business/activities.
We have acquired thorough experience in tracking and analysing legislative acts, amendments and policy proposals from the European Commission and member state governments. Thanks to our extensive network we can spot obstacles or opportunities early enough for you to make a difference, and gather upstream intelligence to give you an upper hand on how to deal with your issues concerned. We can conduct research on the spot, to find out how policy-makers and the most important influencers consider your affairs, and hold targeted events to enforce your policy goals and aspirations.
Platform between stakeholders and decisions makers
Creating specific databases of policy- and decision makers (MEPs and EU officials) and relevant stakeholders, C4EP gives you the opportunity to use its network, the established contacts with decision-makers in politics, media and civil society, and remains always at your disposal for guidance and counsel. Additionally, we can advise you on the expansion and maintenance of individual contact networks. We can help you make your voice heard at the right time in the right way and help you to understand how policies are really made.
We organise events and/or debates with your views included, as well as seminars and workshops. We add value by effectively mapping the environment you operate in. Organising timely and well targeted events are a useful and powerful tool for getting your message across. Our experience can help you create press briefings, small and large-scale events and communicate specific points to the most relevant stakeholders. Through our intensive and customizable seminars and workshops, you will be given the opportunity of coalition building, transversal alliances, transferring knowledge and know-how on subjects related to the EU.
