C4EP organises event on the subject of Europeanisation of elections and politics

by | Oct 13, 2023

Preparing for the upcoming elections to the European Parliament, Centre for European Progression organises a public event on the subject of the Europeanisation of the elections, focusing mainly on the possible effects of the Conference on the Future of Europe and the Spitzenkandidaten process.

We aimed to invite speakers with specific knowledge and expertise on these matters to provide information to a wider audience, preparing for next year’s European Parliamentary elections.

The event is going to take the form of an informal conversation with the participants and will be followed by a networking reception.

Participants:

  • Simonetta Cook (Advisor, European Council, Presidential Cabinet)
  • Krisztina Hegedűs (Expert, European Parliament, S&D Group)
  • Ivan Botoucharov (Expert, European Parliament, EPP Group)

Moderator:

  • Tamás Lattmann (General Manager, C4EP)

The event takes place on 24th of October 2023, 18:00 at the Press Club, Brussels (Rue Froissart 95, 1040 Brussels)

To participate, please register online at the form here.

C4EP has focused on various subjects in its previous C4EPIECE newsletters available on its website: the presidency of EU institutions, possible EU institutional reforms and important legislative issues. Feel free to check those out on our website and social media channels.
